SupportZen provides small, focused productivity tools for support teams, including Zendesk® apps and WordPress plugins. References to “SupportZen,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the SupportZen brand and its operators.

2. Scope of these Terms

These Terms apply to:

  • Our website(s) hosted at supportzen.app and related domains
  • SupportZen-developed Zendesk® applications
  • SupportZen-developed WordPress plugins and utilities

Separate terms may apply if explicitly stated within a specific product or service.

3. Use of the Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Use the Services in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or abuse the Services
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with your organization’s internal policies.

4. Accounts and access

Some Services may require administrative access to third-party platforms (such as Zendesk® or WordPress). You represent that you are authorized to grant such access and that you understand the permissions requested by each app.

5. Data access and privacy

Our apps are designed to request only the minimum access necessary to perform their stated function.

We do not sell customer data. Data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You retain full ownership of your data at all times.

6. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with or depend on third-party platforms (such as Zendesk® or WordPress). Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms and policies.

SupportZen is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Zendesk, Inc. or Automattic / WordPress unless explicitly stated.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Services reliable and available, but they are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Release updates or improvements
  • Temporarily suspend access for maintenance

We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions.

8. Fees and payments

Some Services may be offered for a fee, either as one-time purchases or subscriptions, as clearly stated at the point of purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or explicitly stated.

9. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including code, design, text, and branding, are owned by SupportZen or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Services except as expressly permitted.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SupportZen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable Service during the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where SupportZen operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
